Scritch-Scratch a Perfect Match by Kimberly Marcus and Mike Lester

“Flit-flat flapped the flea” as it tugged on a stray dog, sending him flying through the air to get rid of his pest. After landing on a man, “Thud! Oh Crud,” the two took off through town in search of a remedy to rid them of the flea. Their adventure binds their friendship and alas they pass the annoying flea on to another poor unsuspecting creature. Sprinkled with delightful sound effects, rockin’ rhyme and hilarious illustrations, this book is a perfect read-aloud for the preschool set. Learning that saying silly sounds and listening to language is fun,  children are invited into the amazing world of reading.
