18112No instructions needed as the kids were so excited to play with the parachute that they pulled it out of the sack and started right in calling out and inventing new games. “Let’s play igloo!” said our first friend as they hid under the parachute on the count of 3. Then one of the kids looked at me and said, “Where are your balls?” and they raced to get balls and instructed each other to put them in the middle and send them flying. They called their next game, “Spin” as they rolled someone up in the parachute and spun them around. So much giggling and inventing, I think this will be my go-to gift for families for outdoor fun this summer. “Peek-a-boo” was their name for rolling up with a friend and seeing if they could line up their face with the see-through net in the middle, “Can you hear me?” Kids build their language skills as they learn to play and invent together, negotiating rules and turns for their next parachute game. What a lively learning toy for outdoor fun!
