Kids enter the Riding School through the big swinging doors, opening up the carrying case to a world of pretend play. Students in their riding gear can go to the tack room for bridles and saddles to mount their horse for class. A variety of accessories take the story down different paths as kids took their horse for a nibble on the hay, practiced jumping over hedges and fences, rode in the trailer and put on a show. Prizes can be collected in the trophy room before the horses return to their stalls in the stable. Oh did I mention the apple trees for a nibble while out to pasture? The Riding School provides so many opportunities for open-ended play driven by the child, where language learning happens. Where will the story go now? Is it time for practice, feeding, grooming, rest or competition? The many accessories, figures and illustrations within the box spark imaginations and learning. This take along play was a favorite among kids!
