Building a story is so much about the accessories to send the story in different directions and thereby build speech and language skills. This Builder Box allows preschoolers to build a house while creating a story. Where should we place the windows, bike, doghouse, flower pot, basketball or lantern? Lots of building is going on here–fine motor, speech and language, spatial skills, imagination and creativity! Props can be screwed into the house front or left free to move around with the story. Kids loved the Builder Box so much that they asked if I would leave it for them in classroom! Of course the teacher loved that all the pieces are stored behind the house in an attached compartment and the handle makes this toy portable.
