It’s amazing how 5 simple uniquely shaped wood planks stimulate creativity and hold a child’s attention while they build from a pirate ship, bridge, or castle to abstract art! The columns, battlements, arches and portholes add details to the builds and provide some fun pretend play too. Our friend was in the middle of details on his pirate ship when he held up a structure and made a phone call. He then pointed out the pirates sleeping quarters and front sail. When the ship was done he went to get lego pirates to set sail! Over the course of a few days, our 8 year-old friend made a military fort, crocodile and shark, and was found building new creations at 6 am before school! These KEVA cutouts tap fine motor, balance, language and cognitive skills as kids spatially create and can build a story around their structures.
