I like to keep reminding parents, students and therapists of the amazing resource they have in The Stuttering Foundationof America. As they say on their website:

“The Stuttering Foundation provides free online resources, services and support to those who stutter and their families, as well as support for research into the causes of stuttering.”

Recently they released “Wendi’s Magical Voice, A Story About a Girl Who Stutters.” In keeping with the spirit of sharing and helping, the author -illustrator, Brit Kohls donated the book for all kids who stutter.

The short story deals with embarrassment, fears, bullying, friendship, being different, and being heard.

Share this incredible foundation’s resources with others who might benefit.
