Get ready to build, imagine, and embark on an epic adventure with Dungeons & Dragons Questers! Inspired by the iconic fantasy role-playing game, this collectible series brings a world of dragons, adventurers, and creatures into the hands of our storytellers. Kids can create their own quests, battles, and heroic moments while bringing the magic of the game beyond the tabletop and into hands-on play.
Each capsule starts with the build-then-play experience, as kids discover their surprise character, and assemble their figure. This hands-on construction encourages visual-spatial reasoning, fine motor coordination, problem-solving, and following directions. Children determine how pieces fit together, and organize their actions to complete their characters. Once their characters are assembled, the real adventure begins!
The transition from building to imaginative play is where Questers really shines. With a character quest card and story starter included in every capsule, kids have the tools to create elaborate adventures filled with unexpected challenges, heroic battles, and imaginative solutions. These storytelling prompts provide a foundation for developing narrative language, encouraging children to establish characters and settings, introduce problems, sequence events, and create satisfying resolutions. As their adventures unfold, kids practice descriptive vocabulary, cause-and-effect reasoning, predicting outcomes, and flexible thinking. The included D20 die adds an element of chance, encouraging children to adapt their stories and develop creative solutions when their quests take an unexpected turn.
Dungeons & Dragons Questers combines the simple construction play with the rich language opportunities of imaginative storytelling. From assembling their characters to creating elaborate fantasy worlds, children engage in a natural progression of planning, problem-solving, sequencing, and creative expression. With endless possibilities for new characters, quests, and adventures, Questers transforms a surprise collectible into a language-rich play experience.
The collection is structured around a tiered play system: Creatures ($7.99 SRP), Adventurers ($14.99 SRP), and Monsters ($19.99 SRP)
