unspecified-4I knew this little caterpillar would be a hit when I met him at the New York Toy Fair this winter. Kids aren’t the only ones that like this little creature–educators will love him too as he is a string of learning. My little tester was a shy 3 year-old girl who opened up to this caterpillar. Once I showed her how to connect his colored circles, she matched the shapes and completed his body. Then I heard her calling out the shapes, “square, circle, star, triangle and stop sign” (pentagon) each time she completed the puzzle! That’s what I call fun learning. This could be my new favorite go-to baby gift as parents can play along side their child, naming colors, shapes, and patterns and count the circles as they are added on. This caterpillar is far more than a puzzle, and full of language learning potential.
