Put on your party hats for Party Time Bingo! A picture matching game with layers of learning and language opportunity. Great for 2-4 players that can be played cooperatively or competitively, players work to seek-and-find items chosen from a bag and match them with their party scene.
With four fun themes, including pirates, unicorns, monsters, and outer space, each player chooses a party theme. Next, they take turns selecting party tokens from a bag (no peeking!) to match on their party board, or another player’s board if playing cooperatively.
The illustrations are whimsical and brightly colored, and all the animals are busy celebrating. There are so many opportunities for storytelling and language development. Players can practice answering wh- questions, gain knowledge on prepositions, compare and contrast their parties and discuss how they are the same and how they are different. For example: What’s the same about our party cakes? What’s different about the decorations at our parties?
The party cards became fun story starters too! Asking kids questions about their previous experiences at birthday parties or “what if…” conditional questions made for excellent conversation during gameplay.
