Paw Patrol fans will get fired up for Marshall’s Transforming City Fire Truck. This dynamic truck looks just like Marshall’s from The Paw Patrol Movie and will inspire tons of open play for pup fans everywhere.
This awesome firetruck includes fire pup Marshall, two removable ladders, a rescue trampoline (that conveniently attaches to the sides of the truck), and two water cannons. These water cannons launch directly from the truck, which was a highlight during pretend play when putting out fires. Press the PAWsome button on the top of the truck for lights and sounds. As Marshall would say, “Let’s kick the tires and fight some fires.” Kids loved reenacting scenes from The Paw Patrol Movie, using similar dialogue, expanding on movie scenes, which demonstrated incredible play value in this transforming truck.
Why we love it
Toys that can be used in different ways encourage children to expand their play. Kids loved making the firetruck drive. When parked, the ladder extended to its max height for ultimate rescues. They manipulated fire pup Marshall (and other figures not included) to climb up and then slide down, teaming up with the trampoline for safe landings. Water cannons were launched, putting out the most intense of fires and the language during play was bountiful.
Rich play consists of schemas, or a construction of events that show how children view the world. Their play becomes enhanced with language and growing dialogue, expanding their vocabulary and storytelling. Our toy testers used movie-inspired rescues as a foundation, but then play became dynamic combining new ideas and narrative discourse.
