imgresLucky babies and toddlers can add another Pout-Pout Fish book to their library. The newest “Sweet Dreams” follows the bedtime routine with a twist. After brushing his fishy teeth and scrubbing his face, he fetches his lovey that looks like a baby lantern eel, reads “Whale Songs,” tucks in his fins and cozies up in his seaweed bed. Kids can relate to just enough of the standard bedtime routines and also learn a little fishy vocabulary related to our beloved Pout-Pout Fish swimming to bed. Deborah Diesen’s signature rhythm rhymes make this read-aloud loads of fun and Dan Hanna’s sweet illustrations got me a bit sleepy too!
