For over 40 years, teachers have relied on Versatiles to provide independent learning, done individually and in small groups in the classroom. Now the new VersaTiles Introductory Kits give us a view of all the learning dynamics one can draw upon in their Kits. Our Introductory Book covers math, reading, science and social studies focusing on such skills as number sequence, addition, subtraction, telling time, singular and plural nouns, adjectives, reading comprehension, inference, and recognizing key details and the main idea of a passage. Kids fill in the blank with an answer that corresponds to a letter A-L and place the number tile of that question in the matched letter section of their self-checking answer case. Close up the case, flip it over and see if the competed puzzle from the back side of the number tiles matches the design in your workbook. If not, kids can figure out which answers are wrong and try again. I really like the scope of learning included in these introductory sets which are perfect for homeschoolers or kids in the classroom. It’s an excellent resource to supplement the many different options for school these days. Parents are worried about whether their kids are up to grade level with distant learning and looking for products like this to give their kids extra opportunities to learn standards-aligned grade level material that is fun AND they can work on it independently.
