“My First House Activity Center” was one of my favorite new toys at the NY Toy Fair this year. It’s loaded with potential language learning with the spinning cube hosting a different room of the house on each side and a playground on top! Toddlers are like sponges as they absorb the language they hear around them, especially if it related to where they are focusing in their play. As parents and caregivers play along side their child, they can help build their child’s language by talking about what the child is looking at, moving or opening and closing. Kids are also learning vocabulary by category as the house is organized by rooms. Parents love that the play is self-contained too! The bird can fly out of his cage and kids can slide down the slide without little pieces to pick up. Take a visit to this little house for lots of language learning!
