The set includes a studio carrying case with handle, 500 water fuse beads in 10 different colors, 4 tools, 12 design templates, and over 100 stickers to decorate your creations. The templates were great for spatial perception and understanding how to create 2D vs 3D figures. Kids loved putting their own twist on the templates after a few uses by changing colors and making some features “taller,” “longer” and “just cooler.”
Kids made people, animals, foods, and other props that were later used in pretend play. The Pixo Studio became apart of the play and acted as a quarantine box for a pet cat! Of course only our kids living in a pandemic era would formulate a scenario with quarantines!
Our Pixo-obsessed creators practiced fine motor skills as they pinched and placed beads. They used precision and strength with other tools, such as tweezers, the “Deco Pen,” and pressing on the mister. These fine motor skills are great for developing necessary hand strength for handwriting.
