Fairy gardens are a delightful surprise when I come upon one as I did the other day on a walk. They fit right into the natural habitat but add some whimsical fun and pretend play for the creator. With this new do it yourself kit, kids can use the 12 colored paints to decorate a stone toadstool, throne, path and front door, decorating the setting for many fairy adventures and stories. These substantial stone pieces are then baked in the oven and ready for their new home, either outside under a tree, in a pot or inside. Just add the fairies or characters of choice and watch the imagination go, practicing storytelling, preparing for later reading, writing and language building.
