The learning never stops in Peaceable Kingdom’s cooperative games. Along with following directions, cooperating, and making group decisions, players are building language skills as they discuss strategy options, explain the reasoning, and encourage each other to make the best move. Start play by giving the spinner a whirl, and see if one of the three mice advance 1 or 2 spaces or it you land on Tiger the Cat, he moves 1 space. With the option to move any one of the 3 mice in a turn, players must count ahead and make sure their mouse doesn’t land on Tiger or they are sent back to the start. Mice collect catnip disks on the way up to the attic, and stow them away for later to move Tiger back a space. The group wins when all three mice make it safely to the attic for a large wedge of cheese before Tiger arrives.
