The two-sided tabletop offers multiple interactive elements that encourage speech and language skills for every age and stage of your baby and toddler’s development. The activity side is great for exploring through finger play with a bead maze, 3-part shape sorter, turning gears and flipping the book page for a story or song. The shapes were the biggest attraction for our 9-month old toy tester who practiced problem solving and fine motor skills to match the shapes/colors to their spots. It became an awesome platform for parents to engage in rich conversational language to build contextual vocabulary. Parents commented on fruits and vegetables on the shapes, as well as in the flip book, deepening their understanding of new words and enriching their vocabulary.
On the flip side, the Letter Center offers three modes to explore letters, vocabulary, numbers and colors, and sounds. It includes an interactive alphabet with corresponding pictures, for children to learn the alphabet and associate letters with words. The integrated phonics activities help children develop phonemic awareness, a crucial precursor to reading. “J j-j-jelly!”
